5/5-5/11: Building Experience with the program Krita

This week while finishing up a commission, I realized as much as I enjoy utilizing Photoshop, I hadn’t tried to branch out recently with new programs. Looking up some reviews, I found the program Krita- and it’s free!! Seemed too good to be true, but let me tell you, I’ve never been more exited to work on a piece.

One doodle in particular was fun to form- see below- and practicing the different digital mediums to make it more realistic.

That character seen- Mir- is a ten year old avian growing up high in the mountains away from civilization. All she knows is her family; and especially looks up to her brother.

These characters have been on my mind a lot recently, so you’ll likely see more doodles of them in the future. Enjoy!
