7/27th-8/9th: Jumping Practice
In line with last entry’s work, I decided to do a jumping practice animation. I started with the initial impression, but realized I needed to balance out the motion more. With jumping animation, you need to build in anticipation and follow through (such as curling up before leaping, or pausing a moment after landing). The final sketch has a bit more effort put into it than my last exercise, and the jump itself is about 36 frames at 20 FPS.
Nothing super fancy to show for digital illustrations, but I did make a some fan art:
For a current favorite webcomic: The Adventures of Red Wing by Sid Sydelle!
And for a youtube series: Sanders Sides by Thomas Sanders
